Weave Youth and Community Services are recruiting for two Cultural Support Workers to join the the team in an exciting new Aboriginal Cultural Support Program.

The positions will engage with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander young people referred by the Sydney Juvenile Justice Office and supporting them to build and strengthen cultural identity and connection.

Some of the key duties include establishing good networks and working relationships with Sydney Juvenile Justice Office.

Developing strong, collaborative relationships with Aboriginal Community networks and families and providing cultural support to young people with complex trauma histories and complex needs.

You will feel supported through regular supervision, access to peer review, opportunities for training and development and a friendly and experienced team around you.

Classification for this position is SCHADS Award Level 3 Paypoint (3.1 - 3.4) depending on qualifications and experience. Hourly rate range : $29.59 -$31.73 per hour plus significant salary packaging benefits.
