The Hon Tanya Plibersek MP, Member for Sydney took time out of her busy schedule to come down to Weave on Friday 14 September to find out what we have been up to and generally show her support.
Tanya regularly makes time to connect with us at Weave and we are very fortunate to have such a genuinely committed and supportive Federal member who clearly cares about the community and constituents she serves.
Tanya has always been a big supporter of the dual diagnosis work pioneered by Weave, and as Shadow Minister for Women has a strong interest in and commitment to the work of Weave’s Women and Children’s Centre and keeping women and children safe and free from violence.
