Once again we have come to a great end of term with the Namatjira kids!

It was a good 8 weeks with these little ones, they have all had such great energy on the porgram and are all very smart kids.

As usual, we had out healthy cooking workshops making foods like stir-fry, soups, lamb wraps and so much more.

We also made our famous healthy smoothies, unfortunately, we didn’t see much of Manuela because of work reason’s but it was great to have her come over and do her amazing artworks, colouring and making slime with the kids, they just loved it.

This is such a special program for these kids throughout the term because not only is it a place for them to come down and learn how to eat healthily and do healthy activities but also a place for them to come down and feel safe, having fun with all their family and friends. We have done so much through this term and at the end, we also got to hand out our new Cool To Be Kind Gear 🙂

I would also like to thank all the volunteers Nicki, Aunty Maxine and Bianca for helping us out through the term and a big thank you to Troy our new placement student for helping out on the program. Thank you to South Eastern Sydney Local Health District for keeping this wonderful program alive.
