'Stay Positive' Anthony Mundine shares his Survival Tip

Posted by: KatieSharman May 21st, 2015

Anthony “The Man” Mundine, professional boxer and current WBC Silver Super Welterweight Champion, has been described as arguably the greatest crossover athlete in boxing history after his success as a professional NRL player. A Bundjalung man, Mundine has been named Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander of the Year in 2000 and won the Deadly Award as Male Sportsperson of the Year in 2003, 2006 and 2007.

Throughout his career, as a sporting figure and as a public figure, Mundine has been known as someone who’s prepared to speak up about what he believes in. We caught up with Anthony at the Elouera Tony Mundine Gym in Redfern to chat about Weave Survival Tips. Anthony shared his Survival Tip with us and spoke to us about what a unique campaign he thinks Weave Survival Tips is and how he believes it can help people who are struggling and help people overcome adversity in their lives.

“People follow what they see and read and hear”, he shares, “and if we can flood the airways with nothing but positivity, and that’s what this program is about, then that’s going to take over you, you know, and take over your mind. So stay positive”.
