What is it about?

This seminar is being organised by the Inner West Youth and Marrickville Youth interagencies. It will feature a presentation by the State Library and another successful youth library program.

The aim is to inform services about types of projects and activities for young people implemented by the various libraries. This will also provide an opportunity for libraries to understand the range of community based youth services and identify opportunities for future joint projects.

This seminar will be interactive and encourage greater dialogue and ideas about how local youth services can improve the ways they collaborate with Council facilities such as libraries.

The outcome of the day is: to increase or improve the range of services and activities available for young people; share information and knowledge about new programs which exist across the region; and also make youth services more aware of the programs and resources available in libraries.
