Team Leader (9 day fortnight) Maternity Leave Position

Kool Kids Club Program:

Kool Kids provides fun, strengths based, trauma informed prevention and early
intervention programs for children aged 7-13 years who reside in La Perouse and
surrounding areas (La Perouse- Sth Maroubra). The name “Kool Kids Club” was
given to the program by the children who participate, which reflects the client centred
focus of our work. There is also a leadership and peer mentoring component to the
program, which provides transition to high school support and leadership
opportunities for young people up to age 18. Around 85% of the children and young
people who participate in the program are Aboriginal.

Job Description:

Weave is seeking an experienced Team Leader for a 12 month maternity leave role to provide coordination, administration and overall management of all facets of the Kool Kids Club program including seeking funding to continue the program and managing and nurturing community relationships and partnerships.

Flexible hours: 7 hours per day, over a 9-day fortnight, broadly between the hours of 9.30am -7pm. Depending on program needs.

Minimum of 3 years’ experience working in the Community Services Sector with children and young people is required. For further information of the role and the essential and desirable criteria please refer to the job description.

Classification for this position is SCHADS Award Level 5 Paypoint 1-3 to Level 6 Paypoint 1-3 depending on qualifications and experience. Hourly rate range: $40.06 - $44.51 plus significant salary packaging benefits.
